 Fred Trumpy - Drums

Seen here at the Nesconset Gazebo Concert, Fred Trumpy is one of our newer
members. He is an active percussionist and a teacher from New York, currently
studying under the supervision of Professor Michael Lipsey at the Aaron Copland
School of Music at Queens College. Other teachers include Matt Ward, DavidCossin,
Joe Gramley, River Guerguerian, and Brian Wishin. Fred has performed with such
groups as Talujon percussion Quartet, Merrick Symphony, Merrick Choral,
Astoria Symphony, and various other orchestras, chamber groups, and ensembles.
Fred is also a member of the Creative Ministries Performing Arts pit orchestra.
Fred has premiered "Improvisation for Solo Snare Drum" by Barry Seroff as well as
performing on the award winning score for the movie Body/Antibody. We look
forward to his continued percussion prowess as a full time member of
New York's Most Dangerous Big Band.


 
 
Michael Molloy – Electric Bass , String Bass, Bagpipes.

Michael has been playing bass professionally since the mid 1990s. He received his Bachelor’s degree from
the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam specializing in classical double bass. In 2003, he expanded
his repertoire by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Jazz Commercial Performance from Five Towns College.
Michael is the Elementary Orchestra Teacher at Birch Lane School in Massapequa and provides private
instruction to a number of bassists around Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Along with his regular involvement
in string education and performance, Michael is also an avid bagpiper and can be seen in a number of
Celtic festivals and concerts, and seen here (right) performing his bagpipes for the Fealgood Foundation's 9/11
Fundraiser at Trump National Golf Club in Colt's Neck, NJ.

   John Tinley - Keyboards

For years John has been performing with his own groups and with numerous ensembles from Manhattan to Montauk.  He is now appearing with New York's Most Dangerous Big Band at various venues in the Tri-State New York area.  During his teaching career, John has presented workshops at New Yorks All State Conference with Frank Mantooth pianist, composer, arranger and Ed Shaughnessy, drummer with Doc Severinsen and the Tonight Show Band.
