*Frank Hall - Trombone

After being trained at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam and furthering his graduate work at Hofstra University, Frank now plays in a variety of styles including classical, jazz, latin, and soca.  He feels very lucky to have performed with or backed up such pop/jazz artists as Bruce Hornsby, Edwin McCain, "Crazy", and Jeff Jarvis.  Other achievements include performances at Shea Stadium (National Anthem), recording studio work, and conducting at Lincoln Center.  When he's not teaching, Frank can be found playing with local theater, jazz and soca groups.  Even though he's been up on a stage waving to crowd of over a thousand, Frank believes perfection is something sought after but never attained; that he still has a long way to go and so much to learn, not just from life’s great teachers, but his own band members as well.

*Petro Hykavyy-bass trombone.
Petro was born in the Ukraine. He received a degree from the Koncervatorium of Lvov in the Ukraine, where studied trombone. He's performed in Symphonic Band, Brass Ensemble, and the Filharmonic Orchestra. Petro was previously a band director and music educator in the Ukraine. With the big sound that he creates with his Bach 52B bass trombone, New York's Most Dangerous Big Band is enhanced by his participation!
