"All I can say after the event of a lifetime is that I am fortunate that fate (and the internet) brought me to Ed (deCorsia) and his band (New York's Most Dangerous Big Band). People are still talking about how awesome they sounded weeks after the event. Just as importantly, something people might not realize upfront, any event depends as much on the care and devotion that a band brings to it as on the music they play. And on that score, Ed and his band are just as wonderful. An amazing, dedicated, passionate group of talented musicians. All I can think of are ways to do it again!'.
"Last night will be something that I remember vividly for the rest of my life. The band was AWESOME. I gave the website address to quite a few people that asked. The dance session at the end was perfect. I am already working on the lineup for my next show. All I need now is a reason for it......perhaps outdoors at my summer house next June! "
Michael Cembalest - Chief Investment Officer of the JP Morgan Private Bank.

New York's Most Dangerous Big Band
performs for the Hecksher Museum in Huntington!
"Dear Ed (deCorsia),
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Last Friday evening was such a wonderful event for the Heckscher (museum - above). The band was terrific, the choice of tunes was wonderfully varied to please everyone, and of course, the special dedication to me in honor of my late husband was a personal high. Ken (Sepe) sure does have the lips and the soul. I hope Will was listening. Thank you again, and please convey to the members of the band my sincere appreciation of their talent and generosity in presenting such a terrific performance."
Sincerely,
Jerene Weitman, Coordinator of Public Programs,

"As Les Brown was known for his big brass sound and Tommy Dorsey is remembered for his mix of sweet and swing, NY's Most Dangerous Big Band has it all! I sat there at times thinking I was listening to a perfect take of some grueling recording session only to realize this was going on live. Its big, very big, tight, and will knock your socks off! NY's Most Dangerous Big Band is certainly top shelf, one of the best out there, and not just blowing notes......they're doing it the way it should be."

From the Editor's/AOL (about NYMDBB performing yearly at the Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Oakdale!)
There's danger in the air, and it's wafting into Oakdale in the form of a 20-piece jazz ensemble. Boasting big brass (13 horns at last count) and an impressive electric rhythm section, the New York's Most Dangerous Big Band claims an eclectic song lineup (they're as comfortable with the music of Santana and Norah Jones as they are with the hits of Tommy Dorsey and Sinatra) and a love of big band jazz. This company of cool cats has been working the local circuit for nearly a decade, turning up the heat at weddings, concerts and p
